...It turned on, loads the BIOS and then stops, showing nothing but a blank screen. It won't boot from CD or from hard drive. I removed my hard drive from my old HP laptop and plugged it into another (functional) HP laptop to transfer all the information that way. However, when we did that it showed no data available on my hard drive.

DRIVE JUST STOPPED WORKING, WE PLUGGED INTO EX-HARD DRIVE TO SEE IF IT WOULD READ AS A "g" DRIVE. IT DID NOT HELP ANYHOW.
