Toshiba MK6021GAS 60 GB laptop
From Customer's order
On last Wednesday, Thursday laptop would become very slow and unresponsive from time to time and changing laptop position, angle would make it get to normal. I started Windows de-fragmentation process but it would not complete [only 40%] within 2 days. Eventually I enabled Windows file system scan and check on boot but it only completed 3 or 4 phases and stopped at 10% of 4th or 5h one after 4 hours with very loud spinning noise [I do NOT think it was squeaking or clicking]. After power down and reboot it would start loud spinning and after another reboot drive become almost silent with some detectable sounds during first minute. It has not changed since when I tried to boot it once every 24 hours.
After recovery:
I am so grateful that you were able to recover the data from the drive.
Thanks a lot,
Waldek K.

First blue screen then rebooted but BIOS did not detect presence of hard drive... no spin no noise... was hot underneath so suspect PCB...
After recovery:
You've been very helpful all the time and made my meltdown situation less painful by recovering my data in full and giving me FTP access to those files I needed for my 9 am meeting ... Thank you so very much
