Customers about us

HGST Deskstar 5K1000 HDS5C1010DLE630 1Tb
Data recovered.

From customer's data retrieval request

The failure that occurred was a quiet clicking in the hard drive. I can't tell if it was spinning or if the noise I heard was the moving head actuator. The drive has not been opened. I unplugged the hard drive from the computer tower, then bought an external caddy-case and tried to read it from another computer, but it never detected in the system.

Western Digital WD5000BEVT
Data recovered and delivered on spare HDD.

From customer's data retrieval request

External WD drive was connected to main computer during multiple momentary outages causing the failure to boot or recognized as a system device.
Attempt to replace with identical PCB had no success, same problem to access the drive.

Customer's response after data recovery

Great service, all data recovered!

Fujitsu MHT2040AH laptop
Data recovered and delivered on DVD's.

From customer's data retrieval request

This laptop hard drive was used as a mobile drive; at home, I insert into my desktop IDE and use as a local drive (for speed). This time I inserted wrong, with one pin position off (viewing with hard drive cover up, the right-most (2) pins were exposed) -- this damaged its electronics. I've swapped the control board of the new drive with the old; seems both board and the drive head are damaged.

Customer's response after data recovery

Thanks!! -James
